December 21th

Santa spoke with a twinkle, his eyes full of cheer:
"I have sons and daughters I tell you my dear,
More sons than daughters, that much is true,
And my grandchildren’s count matches my age, too.

I’m not yet one hundred, my years aren’t that high,
But here’s one last hint to give it a try:
Each son has as many brothers as he has kids,
And each daughter’s sisters match her children, amid."

How old is Santa? Can you solve the cheer?
Send your answer by email—we’re eager to hear!
